The Old Time Street Rod Club is hosting an event at the Blacktown Drive In next Saturday.

Here's a couple of Drive In attendees we prepared earlier (from 2006)...

I'm planning to go to this.

Apparently the drive inn has been closed for a while & just re-opened after a renovation. The café is supposed to be done to an American theme & much better than it was previously.

I am thinking about going too, just gotta see whats showing.

Um, the drive in website shows "Turbo" the animated feature. I heard it was OK but really a family/kid thing.

There's two fields that show 4 movies in total. The rest of the schedule will be available on Wednesday.

.. ummm .. so thats the Saturday Night headliners.. the draw cards for a newly marketed revamped drive-in.... Question ... Am I just expecting too much or are they catering movies to the totally brain dead surely they can actually spend some money on hiring decent movies........... I'll stay home and watch re-runs of Kevin Rudds retirement speech... i think.... have the same effect.

Trailer Link.... Last Vegas

Having said that - hopefully coming to a drive-in or theater near you... - a good movie to watchout for is LAST VEGAS.. saw it last Saturday in LA while counting down a few useless hours waiting for the plane.. Stars Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, Robert DeNiro, Kevin Kline..

Not that I would know, but, I would think that as they're part of the Greater Union/Event Cinema group, they'd just show what they were told to show.
